This website is a network of independent booksellers, the majority of which are owner-operated, small businesses or private sellers. They have a good search mechanism and it gives a “sorted by price” results of your search. Which lets you find out the cheapest price of a particular book you want.
On the other hand Thriftbooks is privately owned online bookstore and they firmly state that they are the largest used book sellers in the country. Whatever the case may be, I found out that they have a good inventory of books and definitely the prices are cheap. Only one CON; they charge shipping fees for every book you order, never seen anything like this.

Do you recommend any books in particular that would be specific to TeraData SQL? I’m finding the search difficult, and am having to search ANSI SQL books.
The offering of SQL on the TeraData site is very good, but I was hoping to find a desktop reference or guru book.
Hi William,
Yes, the technical documents on Teradata website are definitely helpful. But if you are looking for a book, I would suggest ‘Teradata SQL Unleash The Power’ by Larkins and Coffing (a bit pricey though). You can get this from the authors web site (coffingdwdotcom).
